The main SAP HCM modules within the scope of the project were: Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Recruitment, Objective setting and appraisals, Qualification Management, Learning Management, Employee and Manager Self Service and SAP Business Intelligence. The implementation of the various HR functionalities was applicable on various groups of employees and concerned blue collar and white collar employees as well as executives. We have also focused on tools and solutions improving the user-friendliness and accessibility (ESS/MSS functionalities) during the project. Next to that, the efficiency aspect of the HR processes was also very important. That is why the organisation has chosen a number of integrated aspects like electronic leave requests, data regarding sicknesses and the consultation of compensation and benefit statements by the employee. Employees and managers personally manage the performance evaluation process, which allows the HR department to spend more time in their steering and supporting role, instead of executing an administrative function. A lot of attention also went to the integration of the above mentioned SAP HCM modules with SAP Business Warehouse, to have analytical information available.
